my name's lena. i'm currently based in san francisco, where i'm senior director of features and special projects at vox media’s PS. i moved here in 2022 from washington, d.c., where i was features editor of the gender & identity section at the washington post. i'm originally from marin county, california, and i graduated from harvard university in may 2017.
my work seeks to elevate underrepresented voices; to capture truth in our individual experiences; and to find beauty in our chaotic reality.
